Our 16-week Outdoor Academic Pods combine systematic instruction, hands-on learning, educational games, and meaningful practice in small groups organized by ability.
We believe children learn best when meaningful academics are balanced with movement, nourishment, play, and time to simply be children.
Learning with Delight

Children receive systematic reading and writing instruction throughout our 16-week semester. Lessons are taught through guided mini lessons, hands-on manipulatives, educational board games, and meaningful practice in small groups based on ability. We aim to develop fluency and a love for reading, building confidence and stamina for writing. Take-home practice helps reinforce new skills and keeps families connected to their child's progress.

Children build strong mathematical foundations through guided instruction, hands-on manipulatives, educational games, and meaningful practice. Lessons emphasize number sense, problem-solving, and confidence while providing the support each child needs to progress at their own pace.

TEach day begins with gentle movement, stretching, and time in nature to help children regulate their bodies, organize their minds, and prepare for learning. Throughout the day, outdoor movement breaks provide opportunities to recharge, connect, and return to academic work with renewed focus.

What your child can expect?

Children are placed in one of three learning groups to receive instruction at their current level and progress with confidence.

Each day begins with connection, movement, and activities that help children regulate, prepare their minds for learning, and build a sense of belonging.

Reading, writing, and mathematics are taught through guided mini lessons, educational board games, manipulatives, and meaningful practice.

Children receive practice pages that reinforce the skills learned in class and help families stay connected to their child's progress.

Movement and outdoor exploration are woven throughout the day, giving children opportunities to reset, regulate, and return to learning with renewed focus.

We honor children's need for nourishing meals, unhurried play, quiet moments, and meaningful friendships because we believe these are essential parts of learning—not interruptions to it.
