Below you will find all about our community days. We hope this space will be helpful in your motherhood and/or homeschool journey. Thank you for being here, you deserve to flourish.

This is Flourish Homeschool Community

Bonding. Belonging. Homeschooling.

 The purpose of this group is to offer events for children of all ages to socialize and find a sense of belonging. To spark children's imagination and inspire their love of learning through field trips and workshops. We are a in person community offering free park meetups, holiday festivities, field trips, and workshops. Check our current offerings below.

Current Events

10/28 Cacao Drink Workshop

This workshop will be a great addition to your social studies unit. Come learn the ancient ways of making a cacao drink using ethically sourced cacao seeds. Learn its origins, life cycle of cacao, the process it takes to harvest and produce chocolate as we know it today. In addition to this you will take home activity worksheets to further your studies. Children will indulge in the process of making a cacao drink and savoring it. PCA FUNDS ACCEPTED

10/30 Halloween & Dia de Muertos (Meetup)

Let's come together to celebrate. Costumes are optional. This is a very relaxed meetup, bring what you can: A dish to share, candy or a craft. (enough for 20 people) Let's celebrate life! and all that we are doing for these kids. Or just come hang and meet other homeschool families.

11/2 Womens Gathering (Birth, Growth, Decay, Regrowth)

Mujeres let's gather. If you are on a journey of self discovery as I am this is for you. If you are ready to open up to the power of our sacredness this is for you. Healing on our own can be daunting but when we use our collective feminine force to see each other, to heal, to validate each other, to walk each other home well the healing with grace begins. We will sit by the fire, drink cacao, share palabra, create art, transmute all that we need to release, all that wants to decompose in order to create fertile soil in us. Let's  allow decay to happen so our foundation will be stronger for all that is to come. Las espero! Las quiero! Can't wait to see you all!

11/13 Little Harvesters Holiday Sale

We are here for our young entrepreneurs that love to create. We hope to encourage children to create and sell their items that will allow them to develop the idea that they can do what they love and earn money in the process. We want to see a world of possibilities because THE WORLD NEEDS THEIR MAGIC!   at this meetup designed for them to expose their creations.

11/20 Beach Bonfire (Meetup)

Let's come together to watch the sunset, dance and play around the fire. Bring your instruments, your bodies to move and play. Let's celebrate life and the beautiful friendships we have created over the years. Come met other homeschool families!

Flourish Community  is an invaluable asset to our community of parents and children and homeschoolers. I am so grateful to have found them! My two homeschool kids can't wait to go every week! And Mommy too!
